Speed Buff - Found at the start, or sometimes middle of maps, this buff gives you a quicker initial acceleration.Unlike in Race, damage is normally disabled in Race CTS. You will respawn shortly afterwards, for another attempt to complete the stage as fast as you can. When you've reached the finish point, your time is recorded. In this case, you can choose which path to take. In some maps, there can be branching paths and multiple checkpoints will be shown. The HUD will show you where you have to run next. To complete the stage, you start at the start point and run to each checkpoint in the correct order until you reach the finish point. The map will have a start point, checkpoints and a finish point. Difference here is that you don't run in laps and the start and finish points are at different positions. In Race CTS (=Complete The Stage), the map is a race track and you have to run through the map from start to finish as fast as possible possible. Race is thus recommended for individual games and CTS is recommended for servers.Race CTS (= Complete The Stage) Object of the Game In Race, players try to reach the fastest time of any other player in the game in Race CTS, players compete for the fastest time on the server. Two free-for-all modes in which players attempt to reach all marked checkpoints as fast as possible. Each checkpoint destroyed nets the team 50 points, and otherwise normal DM/TDM scoring is used (+1 for fragging enemy, -1 for fragging self) Once the attacking team has destroyed all checkpoints, the attacking and defending teams switch and the time limit becomes the amount of time it took for the previous attacking team to destroy all checkpoints. There are attacking and defending teams the attacking team has the goal of destroying all checkpoints (marked with "DESTROY"), and the defending team has the goal of delaying the attacking team's actions. Players play in two teams across two rounds. Walking to the points captures it and builds an "infobot" that the enemy must destroy before capturing the control point. Players play in teams. There are several control points that each team must capture. Control points can only be captured if an adjacent (connected) point is controlled. A ball starts in the center of the map, and each team must move that ball to the enemy goal to gain a point. If they do so, the ball returns to the center of the map. There are 4 teams and several control points scattered around the map. Teams gain points when a player walks to a control point they don't control to capture it.Ī peaceful gamemode. There are two teams, and each team has a goal. The winning player is the "last man standing" - whoever doesn't lose all of their lives. Killing a player causes that player to lose 1 life. If that happens, the round ends.Ī free-for-all gamemode in which player has nine lives. Players gain points normally as in Team Deathmatch, but additionally get 200 points if all keys belong to players of one team and all players with keys meet. Killing that player causes them to drop the key. There are three teams, which play across several rounds.

If player stays adjacent to a frozen player for long enough, the player can revived. Teams win a round when all members of the enemy team are frozen.

Teams gain points if a player takes the flag from an enemy base and brings it to their base whilst the team holds on to their flag. Players play in teams, and each team has a flag at their base. Teams gain points whenever a player on that team frags a player on the enemy team, and lose points when a player on that team frags themself.
